And the LED lights I have on my exhaust are working fine. They are not actually wired to anything on my car. I purchased several LED keychain lights from Walgreens and just used CLEAR DUCT TAPE to put them on.

Again, Clear Duct Tape is my best friend... multi functional.
Did you use the high or low watt tape for the LEDs? I may try this if I can't get the couple I have to work properly.

I used the Higher Wattage tape, since I just picked up the Lower Wattage one this morning at Ace Hardware.

Here's a pic of the one I used. I hope it helps.

I actually used this to patch up the hole in my exhaust. Worked great, and the "nuclearness" helped reseal the hole. A lot better than welding. It's good stuff.

yeah a friend of mine did the clear duct tape thing a while ago. be sure to tape it on good. he said there was a small wind leak noise and sometimes even water when it rains a lot. but rain-x would really do the trick. as far as transparency goes- it's pretty dead on. if you want the shop to do it, just tell the to clear bra the windshield, that should do the trick

hope that helps.

my windshield has been cracked from one end to the other for the past 6 months. nothing happens dont worry there is protective shield on both sides of the glass that holds it together. just dont go over 120mph and you should be fine.

Have you tried using the aforementioned Clear Duct Tape?

Yeah, I was pretty amazed at how dead on the transparency was. It was like looking through a piece of glass... simply astonishing.

windshield crack keeps growingg... HELP!! how do i stop it? > Reply to Thread

I had a crack in my windshield a few weeks ago and in Florida it is covered under your insurance(USAA). I got it done for free and I will just pass on some info that the repair guy told me.

First, as soon as you notice the crack put a piece of tape over it so dirt and other things can't get into the crack. Get it fixed by a glass company ASAP.
If you buy one of those fix-it kits from the auto stores and try to fix it yourself it will not work.
Once you try to fix it and see that you just messed it up and probably made it worse, the glass repair company will not touch it. You are on your own.

Just call them and have it repaired!!! I can hardly even tell there was a crack in my window.

No problem dude... I'm only here to help. Did you make sure you got the one with the correct wattage so you don't throw codes?
