negative camber to reduce understeer

hello, i have a 335xi and am trying to reduce understeer. someone said to get an alignment and get as much negative camber as possible. is this true? also i didnt ask is this only for up front? or front and rear? thank you

If you have under steer then you need to increase front camber and if that doesn't work get more positive camber in the rear.

Of course you can't do any of this without camber plays up front. I have mine setup to -2.5 camber up front toe in and -.7 camber rear toe in cause I have a staggered setup. Almost neutral with a lot of rear grip

You want to add negative camber in the front. Reduce it in the rear. Run about .1* total tow front and 0 rear. Under steer will be dramatically reduced.

I run -3° camber in the front. Turn-in and front end grip is amazing.

well with this setup high speed stability is down a bit as that is where i was and was a little wobbly. i would run about .1 degrees of toe both in front and rear. plus when you take off hard the rear will toe out on its own

Answers should be different between street and track applications.

For a daily setup I would pull the pins on the stock tophats, max out camber, the rest of the alignment can stay to BMW spec, and look into a larger front sway bar.
