On your website there's no info about the sports series oil cooler kit. Is it an upgrade of the stock oil cooler with a better core?

I apologize for that. Honestly, the race season has been pretty hectic for us and we're swamped with our race program as well as our customer's race programs. We're just behind on putting up info on the oil coolers. Since we haven't "officially" released the products yet, it wasn't deemed to urgent. Marketing kinda takes the back seat at our company.
The Sports Series Oil Cooler is basically the right side oil cooler from the Competition Series Oil Cooler. It's the side that the factory oil cooler sits (replaces the factory unit). Hopefully, I'll have some updated info put up next week though most likely won't be until the following week. We have a customer racing Global Rallycross next weekend. Wrecked his car 2 weeks ago in the final round at the last event. Here's a video of the wreck if you guys want to watch (we all love crash videos right) We've been busting our butts building a replica of the last car from scratch. It's gonna be a short week for us as we'll be heading out the Seattle to support him at the race. Really don't have much time to do anything for the next week. |

Thanks for the info
I'm interested in this "smaller" kit, as I already have the auxiliary AR Design oil cooler in front of the radiator. It would be great if you could provide additional info when time permits. I also need to know if your oil line connections are compatible with the AR Design kit. Greetings, Christian

Laguna Seca results are in! ambient temps were about 60-70 throughout the day. The following log was done without heater on at all and at about 14 psi.
this is the temp for a 20 min session: And this is a zoomed in on the main straight pull so you can see the boost: |

zsapphire7, So your oil temps only ever got to 256. That's great with a tune and 14 PSI.
Is this with MoCOOL? I expect you not to rest until you go 1:45 at Laguna. Do us proud. |

Any update / ETA for the sports series OC? I'll attend a trackday on May 20th and I suspect that cooling will be at the limit even with the auxiliary AR Design oilcooler

It's available now. We just haven't "officially" released it yet since no point if you don't have any product to sell. You'll see more info posted up on our website sometime this week or next.

Fred... Im one of those guys with an 07, no oil cooler. I am not tracking my car but I want to keep her running strong until its paid off. I see a ton of aftermarket oil cooler options but only for those that currently have oil coolers. Has anyone heard of a quick, easy way to tap the oil lines without spending the 500-700 $ for the retro fit kit thats almost impossible to find?
Looks like we need to start by adding one of these, right? http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...71&hg=11&fg=30

They are available. I'm in the process of ordering the sports series oilcooler right now. Just contact them by the email adress found through their website.

brake ducts
agree, have to run lines all the way to the rotors to make any impact. oem just throws air into the wheel well.
i am gathering the parts to make a custom brake duct install using 3" duct. will keep you all posted. |
