The service manager at mine let me take a loaner from Long Island, Ny all the way to Maine. My car was in for a month though. Probably depends on who's in charge and whether they care or not.

Read the signed paper, because it is written there somewhere that you are only limited to a certain mileage per day. Any excess will be charged to you per mile.

It boils down to the rental agreement and insurance. I'm pretty certain you cannot take it to Mexico. You don't want to be on the hook for a beat-up loaner.

My dealer loans cars through an on site enterprise office. They say I can drive as far as I want as long as I bring it back with gas. I assume they don't expect someone to take it out of country, but it's unlikely they'd ever know. Just don't get into an accident.
