N54 meth injection, Direct port Vs Charge pipe

Hi Guys,
Looking for a bit of information regarding Meth Injection, I've owned my E92 335i for just short of 1 year and have carried out the following
7" intercooler
JB4 with back end flash
Dual Intakes
Forge Diverter Valves
Silicone Intakes
Down pipes and back box removal

I'm looking at meth injection but there are 2 popular kits, direct port and charge pipe injection, there is a considerable difference in price (when you take into consideration the £400+ JB4 port injection module), is there a big difference in performance/driveabilty?
I'm running standard fuel pumps and turbos (ideally I will be upgrading the turbos but can't afford to just yet)
