I've sourced the reservior with two motors. Now I need to find the part numbers of the pipes, and other parts.

Found it.

Just to double check, part 11 & 12 go to part 1 of second link?

Also, in the second link they have shown the cover spray as number 3. How do I get the springs and other bits to fit those headlamp washer covers?

Thanks.

If your referring to the cornering light in the inner lens then its a 55w H3 bulb....

Lets see how it goes.

I have bought the xenon jet washer covers. Took it to a body shop which told me that cutting the OEM bumper is not recommended and I should buy a new / used bumper with hole in it.

Can somebody kindly confirm if thats the case?

Don't need a new bumper as when you remove bumper there is a cutting line for washer covers and they fasten to the washer pumps no springs needed.
I have just had AHL Xenons fitted with level sensors and worth the time and money.
If you need a couple of washers I can help you out for £20 posted.

You are a star. Thanks for this. I will try a different body shop to see if they can cut and fit those.

I have washers but if they turn out to be faulty, I will give you a shout.

Ok, my H8 LED lights are here. They are 40W each.

Apparently the seller says that they are brightest in the market. Not sure as I have not seen it on my car yet.

Some photos taken in my lab....

Just quick re MOT. This has and still is being discussed in pretty much every manufacturers forum on the web. By the looks of it Xenon washers and auto levelling are only required to be 'correct' on vehicles with them fitted. Vehicles without them fitted do not apply to this piece of legislation.

Although I guess it's a matter of interpretation.

Guys
Finally, xenons and washer jets installed on my car.
I need to connect the wiring / fuse / relay for the washer jet at some stage.

At the moment here are the issues:

1- Since LCI headlights are bi-xenon and shutters get connected with the high beam wire. It works when headlights are on. However when xenons are off, high beam triggers the shutter and as there is no xenon, therefore nothing happens.

Any suggestions for the solution?
If no, then I guess I will have to install the rest of the wiring and level sensors.

2- I am assuming that cars withs xenons have no headlight adjustment knob on the headlight switch and they are auto leveling due to the sensors. Am I correct in thinking that?

As my headlight adjustment knob does not work with xenon lights.

Thanks.

Your spot on.

When I fitted xenon headlights to my e46 the headlight adjustment toggle did actually work manually. e90 as more things are than via electronis can see how that would not work. But then on e46 I didn't even have to code just stuck a in line capacitor and problem solved.. On cars with factory xenons you dont get a high adjuster it does it automatically using the two sensors on the suspension.

With high beam you are stuck as you cant even reuse the inboard units to create a high beam flash option. So looks like full wiring is needed as when you flash you need the bulb to ignite and the shutter to move. Something I hate as it kills the life of the bulb much prefer the old way for halogen to use as flash option

You will need to either Frankenstein a custom loom or wire it in properly and code as factory setup

Thanks matey.

I guess at some stage, I'll go for the sensors and wiring loom.

Thanks to all of you who contributed to this thread. I'm still working on high beam working without the need to turn on the headlight. Trying to crack it!

Meanwhile here is the photo of the xenons installed and most striking is the new LEDs (40W each) showing their brightness on a full sunny day. During the night, they are so bright that you get the impression of high beam turned on. (I may code to reduce their brightness with the xenon on.)

That is some bright LEDs is that the kit from the forum seller here. I'm surprised you haven't fitted the brake cooling ducts yet. Easy mod and helps a bit

Thanks mate. I guess Ish LED's are similar in terms of brightness.
I needed a pair urgently and at that time Ish ran out of the stock.
I ordered these from Germany as they are latest from CREE. Worked out approx £140. Bit expensive but worth of every penny.

B/W which brake mod are you referring to?

Good work Sam!

I assume by the nature of there design the outer halos don't have the same light output as the inner halos?
