E93 Convertible Roof Raising Coding - Advise
Hi Guys and Gals,
I started coding at the weekend after alot of research and how to guides and i managed to get Digital Speedo and my alarm to chirp when locking and unlocking. I also managed to get comfort access to raise the roof half way so you can put stuff in the boot and lower it back down. The problem is I don't seem to be able to get the roof to close. It goes down as normal but when holding the lock button on the key it doesn't do anything but lock the car. If i use the key in the fob and put it in the drivers door handle and turn right the roof will go up but i want to do this from the key. Below are the settings i changed from the cas module so i cant see why its not working... any advise? KOMFORTOEFFNUNG_FB aktiv KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB aktiv I also enabled comfort eject which is suppose to eject the key when you press start/stop but that doesn't do anything either.. KOMFORT_EJECT aktiv Help welcome |

@ Jordan
go back in and code KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_PA to active, thats for windows up with comfort access, let me know if that helps you also with that comfort eject feature, start the car and when you turn it off make sure you hold the start stop button for like 2 or 3 seconds then it will eject, also try that and let me know! |

Hi,
I did that on my car many months ago as you can see: You have to search in CTM module, not only the CAS. Regards from Spain! PS: You are welcome to my channel: http://www.youtube.com/josejjn |

Let me know what happens when you get a cable and you try the top again, if it works let me know all of the values you changed so I can keep them in my records!

Same here - had a friend try coding my wife's 128i Convertible (no comfort access) to raise/lower the top with the fob, but never could get it to work. What's more, can't seem to get the windows to go up/down with the fob either. Using the key in the driver's door works, just not the fob. Any ideas, anyone?

If i could get into the CTM module I'm sure Jose's plan would work. However in NCS i am unable to process the CTM module because it comes up with an error. Anyone know why?

Guys - did this on a 2011.5 e93 M3 and didn't have to use the CTM module at all.
You have to set the values for: KOMFORT_EJECT nicht_aktiv -> aktiv ER_KEYOUT_AUTOVR nicht_aktiv -> aktiv KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB (window up through key fob) aktiv KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_PA (window up through comfort access) aktiv ASP_KOMFORT_EINKLAPP (MY09-11) aktiv SPIEGEL_KOMFORT_EINKLAPP (MY07-08) aktiv I did all of that coding on the e93 and when i finished and held the door handle, or the lock button on the fob the top went right up. |
