I installed ONE GReddy style BOV, that is listed in the DIY. If someone can explain how to upload videos, Ill put it up.

I should have my HKS one installed this week.

NEVER MIND On youtube

Not the best video, but gives you an idea... its not loud at all, unless you are really go high in RPMs. Hopefully after installing the HKS it will be louder.

Also I popped the hood open to show you that Its a lot louder with hood open, So people are not fooled about loudness when they hear it from an open hood.

Still new to this turbo game.......Can anyone confirm that the P3 Guage will still give an accurate boost/vacuum reading with this setup?

I have this setup with the p3 gauge, i didnt notice anything different in my readings. But lets hear from someone else to confirm.

The P3 reads from the computer and also manually if you have it setup. Both my readings seem to be the same...

It will not effect the boost reading the only way is if your leaking boost somewhere. The BOVs themselves will not effect it as long you set them up correctly and don't have the tension on full soft (I don't see how you could setup up wrong and the default tension that comes with works good). Could be from computer or vacuum line boost should be the same. My friend who I gave the setup to and when I had it never had issues with boost we both checked boost regularly. He is running Cobb and records peak boost levels at 18 - 19.5.

Good to hear....thanks for the replies guys! I emailed P3cars asking them about it the other day, but never got a response. You would think a guy I am trying to give $400 to for his product would return a simple email. My adapters came in yesterday, and I am expecting the BOV's and plugs today. Should be installed sometime this weekend.

Awesome.......well, they only sent me 1 BOV when I clearly had quantity at 2 and was charged for 2. Sent them a nastygram so hopefully they expedite the 2nd (doubtful). If I were to go ahead and hook up just the one for now, which hole should I put it in? The one closer to the cabin or the one closer to the front of the car?

I'm going to keep an eye out on this seller's listings to see when they re-list the $20 adapters, but please folks keep a look out and update the thread if you see some! Hopeful that we won't have to resort to the $39/each adapters.

Thanks!!

I went with one greddy rs style and one hks bov, since I like the high pitched noise at shifting. The hks was a little difficult to install since the adapter for our car was very little different from the universal adapter. It was just a little bit thinner. So I was forced to grind the C-clip a little bit, in order for it to fit. Everything else was fine.

Anyone if these will fit with the posted BOV on the first page?

The other mounts on Ebay are crazy expensive.

I'm on the same boat, the adapter have recently went up on price like 29.99 for 1, instead of 2 now. Still hunting...

It looks as if the end that goes in to where the diverter valves were, has a lip on it. The ones I have and that have been listed by others, have the notches in them to lock in place with no lip. The other end, is the RS "Greddy" style and would work. However, with that lip and no noticeable notches, I would say probably not.

Disclaimer: I am by no means an expert on this. I am just going off of what mine look like, as opposed to those.

I agree with you, anyone else find a link to buy the "type-rs mounts" for less than 39.99 ea?
