Burn spots on hood
I have a question... after going to enjoy fireworks on the 4th with my family, some jackass decided to launch some over the cars... Anyway the remnant of the exploded fireworks landed on the hood of my jet black 330I. I now have some pits where the molten pieces hit my hood and some lighter spots as well. How can this be fixed? I have the paint warranty from BMW... never thought I would ever have to use it...
Should I use it for this on the hood? Does it even cover this type of stuff? |

never hurt to ask..
If you were to buff it out yourselve, you can you a mild polish (abrasive) to remove the spot and then use glaze and wax to make it look good again...

anyway... took the car to the dealer, they touched up the pin hole burn and buffed out the other imperfections on the hood and polished it up for me... NO CHARGE |
