River Rafting

Some of our friends and we (Ewelina and I) went river rafting yesterday in Buena Vista, and we had a lot of fun. I know it was just yesterday that we went but we are anxious to go back there to do it again.

Anyone interested in going river rafting? We can probably go to one that's closer than Buena Vista if you guys are not up for the drive up there.

I've been to Buena Vista for rafting a few years ago but the water levels were not as high so mostly threes and fours. I bet with the melt it must have been fives or higher.

The water was really high when we went on the 4th. It was a lot of fun!

So far, it looks like the folks that are interested always have weekends off. This shouldn't be too hard to organize

Let's see if we can get more people. 6 people should all fit on one boat.

YUP! My girl and I went 2 weeks ago down clear creek both for our first times. It was a f'ing blast! The water is really running right now. If you want to try and schedule a trip let me know.

Last time I went was down by Canon City. It was a blast.

I did Browns Canyon down by Buena Vista two years ago, that was a pretty good time. Bet its flowing like crazy right now.

Not sure about a rafting trip this year for me, I will be in Powell in a couple weeks though!

My buddy is a rafting guide at Milehirafting in Clear Creek. They have a great staff there and the rapids are fun as heck...

I won't be able to make it on the 30th. I'll be down in the Springs for the Rocky Mountain State Games tournament that Saturday.

Might be able to 31st though.
