I was sure it was, but it turned out to be just a mark. It cleaned off. I was -sure- it was a scratch, I looked under hard light and I swore I saw scarring on the mirror itself. But it was just an optical illusion. I have no idea WTF caused that. It took a bit of sacking up to even try cleaning the mirror, I've always been taught to never, ever touch it as it is very fragile.

whew! I had the same feeling when I thought my lens was broken. It turned out to be just an oily thing. Don't know how it got there. Glad to hear man.

at least if it were a scratch or something, that it was the mirror and not the sensor... still sucks either way though.
