Oil info

So I went to dealer to ask about oil and I mentioned that from what I heard the oil needs to meet a LL rating. The guy looked at me and said he never heard of this. I asked for a bottle of the BMW oil that they use for oilchanges and there is no LL rating on it. Sounds like to me this LL thing that people talk about is not even similar the BMW oil that u buy from dealer

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
