How long for replaced Turbo's

I had my 08' turbos replaced at 51,000. I now have 86,000 on the car and all is well. Question, when the dealer replaced the turbos are they an "improved" version which will not have the wastegate issue , and what is the expected life of these new ones. I have an option to buy the car as it has been my company vehicle. Almost all the mileage is highway. Not sure if I should pull the trigger.
Thx
