when is the m3 pics comming out? i want to see if they changed the headlights on that as well.

as for the 3 series. is the 335is=340i that was mentioned before? tempted to get a 335is with dct and mtech...

M3 will get LED tails, and that's probably it.

If history tells us anything take a good look at the E46 M3's. All they got from the LCI was the LED tails.

Info on the 335iS will come in a few days.

Doesn't seem like the 8-speed will be implemented on the 2011 at least. Maybe 2012.

What we've heard (and I think it was some BMW official quoted on Bimmerfile or something) is that the M3's front end won't change - only new LED tail lights. Something about the fact that they can keep the GTR front end the same. Well, you know what, I think that was a smart move by the M Division!

I think the rumored 340i was mentioned in the context of the F30 series coming out in a few years, not the E9x.

I'd be interested to see what the price on a 335is + M-Sport package is going to be. I have to assume it'll end up being just a couple thousand dollars shy of an entry level M3, at which point, what's the point?

On top of everything everyone has said in this thread, its a N55!! What a disappointment.

To add to all of that, they made the vert look wayyyyy too feminine.

I don't like how they made the headlights less sleek, the idea of the a bright eyebrow, and the LED halos is great, but they sacrificed the sleek pinched tapered headlights of the pre-lci coupe. I loved how the coupe/m3 headlights were simple and clean with a very mature design. These look like a cheaper car attempting to incorporate as many gimmicks in without designing it sleek enough... I dunno just my 2cents... but i'm blah on the headlights, don't mind the squared off grill though. The tail lights are nice too... but then again they were always nice. I always thought the coupe didnt need any changes...

Oh btw I was at my dealership 2 days ago and an AW coupe was in the service bay with the new bigger side mirrors, and I thought holy crap an LCI... then I looked at everything else on the coupe and it was still the pre-lci... does anyone have a 2010 coupe? do they already have the big side mirrors?

The visual are ok by me. I wouldn't mind having this over my 07 and wouldn't mind to keep my 07 over this. I am however interested in some real world reviews of the N55. If it feels more like an NA engine that the N54 I would be willing to give the tunability of the N54.

front looks to high as the front bumper looks like it has a top and bottom. alsmost reminds me of the saab's front

Definitely looks better than the spy shots, but as mentioned before about the front, I prefer the previous design. M-package is a must. But I still have to wait until I see it in person. BTW the US spec version will probably have a big orange reflector in the headlights like the 1 series since I don't see side reflectors

I wish they put the LED angels in the 2010

Nothing special back lights are the same shape. Better for us their isnt much change, that way our cars don't look old, plus when you mod the our car's they look different anyways.
