MOTUL Gear 300 Question

I was looking at changing my rear diff fluid with Gear 300, but I read somewhere that it has friction modifier additive for LSD's. Is this still OK to use in my open diff? Am I better off just sticking with the normal Castrol oil for a DD?

mmm motul.

They have two differential fluids, one for non lsds and other you guessed it.

You can use the LSD fluid in a non LSD diff but not the other way around. The friction modifiers for the LSD do nothing (good or bad) to an open diff.
