Exporting methanol mixture (aka "Boost Juice") from USA to Europe ?

Hi,

I wonder if there are any US law restrictions in exporting methanol mixture (50% water and 50% methanol) from USA to Europe (more specifically my country Romania). We have some problems with obtaining methanol here and I just thought I could just import the mixture from USA. I am not interested in 100% methanol stuff because of safety concerns.

why dontīt you use alcohol instead of meth
If you get bored, you could just start a party.

If you look for hobby places for rc cars or model helicopters they will have it or just use alcohol. Thats what i will use mostly as well. Even snowperformance in germany does not export methanol but you can ask them for some contacts .

methanol in RC shop or chemical store is expensive at least 1€ / litre (quartal)
crap 90% vodka is cheaper

I am too seeking for cheap methanol or ethanol=alcohol or denatured alcohol=ethanol+5% methanol et cheap price.

Another idea is to use E85 fuel (85%ethanol + 15% gasolune) found at 0,80Euro /litre but the 15% of gasoline wears some mumps (snow for example)

In europe the windscreen wash liquid can't contain more than 5% methanol by law.

Sorry, but there is no way I will pay 75% more for a Stage 1 kit from the German distributor. It costs 360EUR (480USD) for a stage 1 compared to 274USD in USA. It's just a ripoff. I prefer to ship to a US address and then ship to my country...
