Eibach Pro Feedback please

Hi guys, my car is an e92 335is.

I recently went from sport oem suspension to eibach pro + Koni yellows. The Konis are 1 turn from soft in the back, and 1.5 turns in the front.

The problem is I still feel that the car is a little floaty. Since I already bought the shocks, it doesn't make sense to get coilovers at this point.

Are there any springs I can get to get a better feel? Should I try to stiffen the shocks more?

H&R are too low for me. Was thinking about BMW performance springs, but they seem to keep the gap in the front.

I'm planning on getting an LSD soon, and I'm afraid the eibachs might become a weak link.

Thoughts?

The floatiness comes from the damping. Try adjusting the shocks. I don't have experience with the Konis on the e90 but had them on a number of other cars and they were great. Unfortunately, I had an issue dialing them in on my wife's car and ended up replacing them with FSD's.

I have the same feeling. Installed my Koni Yellows + Eibach last night. I put the front to the stiffest setting and the rears are neutral. Felt a bit floaty in the rear so I am going to stiffen those to the most aggressive as well.

I'm looking into this setup and am worried it will still be too soft/floaty for my taste considering the spring rates of the pro kit are very similar to ZSP.

Try stiffening the shocks a bit more and check back. I have read that 60-80% is the sweet spot for the Koni yellows with lowering springs. If the floatiness is mainly in the rear and you can feel it mainly under throttle, look into rear subframe bushings/inserts.

Let me know how it goes. I'm thinking I should have gone with the BMW Performance springs or the Dinan.

It's been two weeks. Anyways, I got the Dinan springs. I'll put them on to see if I like them.

Have you tried stiffening the shocks yet?

I chose my springs based on spring rates and used e30 front perches and pads to adjust height. I'm happy with my setup
