330i PE exhaust
So i have a performance exhaust on my 06 330i sounds good and deep but honestly not loud enough for my liking any suggestions to make it louder or should i got with a diff exhaust overall?

Well if you wanted it louder then you should have gotten a different exhaust. But you can get a different intake, take out the cats, and change the exhaust manifold. which should leave you satisfied, maybe...
Or you can keep drilling holes in the exhaust til you are satisfied.

How is the PE too deep for you? Are you sure you have the PE lol
The PE is usually pretty raspy, and if oyu want to make it louder you can delete the secondary cats that will not throw and codes or cause any problem for emissions. If you do a search you'll see that every person who did the sec cat delete had no regrets |

I have the PE and secondary cats removed and its pretty deep under like 3000, but over that its more of a bmw sound.. but like you said, not really possible on our cars. Evos/Stis are so bassy because of the turbo and the type of injection on the other cars make them sound totally different. I really enjoy the way mine sounds though and i dont think you will regret removing the secondary cats

I dont know how to weld and didnt have a pipe bender. But they charged me 150 or 170, i forget, without tax because i payed in cash.. I sold the cats for $50 each after that so i wasnt down that much in the end

nope. no cel at least. I havent had to do any emissions testing yet, but its all OBD2 where I live so im not expecting any troubles
