I think you might be able to do this in the iDrive vechile settings (if you have it). You can definitey choose weather the hazards flash or not.

p.s. You posted this about 5 times

For the benefit of our Canadian friend, all UK cars have the alarm as standard BUT it's now against construction and use regulations to have audible sounds for alarm arming or disarming. Mainly because if you live in a street with lots of cars outside it gets on everyone's tits.

So you can't do this on UK cars unless you get somebody to code it for you using autologic. The capability is there - just disabled for the UK market.

No. BMW can only change what the UK spec is.

If you go to an indy with autologic they could do it. Either that or check the coding thread.

As already said a private tuner with auto logic can do it. Call Bw Chiptune in Hayes if interested

Bear in mind, if you get it done, - and it's reasonably loud, your collar may get felt... especially after 11.00pm

LOL. There you go then

I've considered getting my beep enabled a bunch of times, never gotten around to it.

Now I just kind of mash the remote so many times that it MUST have locked. Perhaps not ideal as I end up deadlocking the car I guess and disabling the "siren" (and I use that term loosely) when I do that...

I had it done at my local Indy who has Autologic.
I wasn't charged as it only took a few minutes and I'm a semi-regular.
The bleeps aren't loud in the slightest,so I wouldn't worry about them causing any issues for anyone-a worthwhile update IMO.
