So I joined the Ebay Spoiler Club. Pretty happy with the spoiler, the paint match is pretty good, and the shape is spot on, laid completely flat on my trunk and sits right at 1/4" from the edge.

so what i gather from the broken english instructions....
clean the area, rub it with the alcohol pad, swab some of the primer, peel off the edges of the double sided tape, put the spoiler on, make sure it's lined up, peel the rest of the tape off. is this correct? lol |

I purchased one last week, as well. Should be here this Tue. I figure for $62 and all the positive feedback, its a no brainer... So, is proper placement for the spolier 1/4 inch from the edge?

You realize the point of the alcohol pad is to remove any wax you have on the paint so the tape will adhere properly, correct?

I bought one from the same seller and am very happy with the purchase. I had it in my hands in four days from Taiwan which is just crazy. I'm extremely picky and I couldn't find a single thing wrong. Its beautiful and you just can't beat the price.

I read a post that said not to use the (enclosed) primer. But, is everyone using the alcohol pad/solution? I understand its used to remove the wax, but will it cause any damage/staining to the paints clear coat?
