When I move my car forward slowly, theres a really faint small squeaking noise as if the brakes are gone on the car (this is without pushing the brake at all, just letting the car roll). The brakes are good on the car though, had them checked.

Is this something warranty would cover? My car is a US vehicle so I know my dealer doesn't cover normal wear.

nope. not covered. you can talk to the dealer but they most likely wont do anything. if you search for squeaky brakes, you'll find dozens of threads on this topic

welcome to owning a BMW...having noise from the brakes is the norm..

Try doing a few hard stops from high speed and warm them up, sometimes that will help fix the problem...

The only way the noise will go away is if you change everything.

Pads, Sensors and Rotors.

I contacted Tischer (getbmwparts.com) and ordered everything new and had it replaced. The squeaking noise went away now.

i have the same problem..are you manual transmission?? i find that it only "sticks" when the parking break is pulled and the car is parked on a hill or even slight hill with the front facing downhill...the only way to get rid of it (temporarily) is to pull the parking break and park the opposite way (front of the car facing up) then let the break down...sounds complicated but in short, just try and always park with your hood facing the top of the hill or slant when you can so you have some roll back on the parking break..

i have taken the car to the dealer many times for this issue with no resolution of diagnosis for the problem...seems to just be one of those things you have to live with

it happens when you are moving forward slowly.. the brake sensor is rubbing against the rotor/pad since e90/92's have that hill assist option (brakes applied for 2 secs to reduce roll. it squeaks at either the front left wheel, or the rear right wheel as that is where the sensors are located.

tjhey say you can shave your sensor down so it doesnt rub which should solve the squeaking issue, but then the readings on the sensor would indicate "premature wear" and the OBD would indicate that you will need to change your brake rotors/pads.
