Gear box on 335D jumping into 1st

Hi all,

Don't know if this has been covered elsewhere, but I have a puzzling issue on my '07 335D.
Occasionally, I'll be pulling away from a standing start, maybe half throttle, the car will go from 1st to 2nd, then 3rd, and will suddenly drop down to 1st again with a resultant soaring of the revs, almost like when you bury the throttle in the floor and it kicks down. It will hold like that for a few seconds, then change up again as normal.

Any ideas?

Before flashing, MHD lets you choose options. Tick the box that says "disable kickdown".
