BMW CIC retrofit plug and play activation emulator

BMW CIC retrofit plug and play activation emulator. It will allow navigation, voice control and video in motion if you fit CIC headunit from another car without buying expensives codes.

WILL FIT:

BMW 1-er E87

BMW X1 E84

BMW 3-er E90

BMW 5-er E60

BMW X5, X6 E70 works with PDC and Camera too.

£155 + £5 postage

is this actually plug and play per se similar to the bimmertech emulator, or is it the type that requires wiring and soldering into the existing harness?

it does require soldering,the pnp bit really means no coding.

interested in this..but confused to..i want to upgrade to the CIC currently got the CCC at the moment. If i was to purchase a CIC unit off ebay, will i have to pay extra for coding MAPS etc or will this device by pass it so i can be plug and play so to speak

the device bypasses the fsc codes so you simply take out the ccc solder the 6 wires change screen cable and code cic to car.

the maps are usually on the hard drive.

Since you have sold it now, so I can ask you a question about it.
I have been told that these after market boxes block the speed signals to your Satnav.
How true is that Chris?

i think untrue as when i put my route in and it gives a time it recalculates throughout the journey and it needs speed to do this.

Thanks for confirming mate. I believe it also shows you speed cameras and prompts you about speed.

lemans 330d, I have a 2007 X5 E70 with rear camera and sensors. I am planning on a CIC retrofit from my CCC. Will this work? I want to activate, get latest North American maps and be able to use the camera and sensors. If this will work, I would like to order one today, please.

i cant comment on the rev camera but wouldnt think it would be a problem.
im just looking into upgrading but first the cic needs upgrading then you need to change the vin in the cic to a post 2009 cars vin then you can download the american or british maps but you need an fsc code using the new vin from various sources.
