Flyer Update...

I talked to a graphic artist and she was pretty happy with the product but she suggested choosing a more readable font for the text body. I'm getting a bit better with Photoshop but this didn't take much expertise. This one's ready for distribution.

Yeah definitely a neat place, but way too small for a cars & coffee. They'd only have room for about 8-10 cars at the most.

The Facebook page has been set to simmer. Word will be spread to other enthusiast websites after I return from the west on Wednesday.

Thanks for spreading the word. Use every form of advertising. The internet word is spreading but we need to focus on word-of-mouth advertising as well. Many owners simply don't scan the websites but they'll accompany a few buds with their cars if the word gets in the proper ears. Remember, this is your gathering. Its every attendee's gathering. Take pride in it. The 20 to 30-mile radius of Hunt Valley can certainly bring together a quality car meet.

This weekend, I'll be talking with a few of the shops at Hunt Valley and Arena Motor Group. Also, the word will be spread to more websites. All suggestions are appreciated.

If you are are 'in' or are even a 'maybe', be sure to check the Facebook page and note your intentions.

Once again, thank you for the support and keep spreading the word!

As of today, Hunt Valley Towne Centre's security squad (Broadway Silver Star) is on board. Also, I visited Arena Motor Group in Owings Mills to meet the management. They're very excited about bringing a few exotic and luxury vehicles to Hunt Valley. Be on the lookout for some amazing cars. Great people. Finally, Ritz Camera has printed some excellent postcard-size advertisements. Another excellent crew.

Based on the feedback, the Hunt Valley Cars & Coffee has been moved from a monthly to a weekly event. Starting on Saturday, March 31 and every Saturday moving forward, see you there!

UPDATE:

Here's a shot of the 4x6 windshield slider and handout...

It was great meeting the Arena crew. The impromptu visit landed with good timing. What a facility. What an inventory.

My choices were made in an effort to get a wide sampling of manufacturers as well as special vehicles for crowd impact. Its early for a list but if the meet was this week, here it is...

DBS
T-Rex
599 GTB Fiorano F1
Boss 302 Laguna Seca
09 911 Turbo Coupe
GTR Premium in Gun Metallic

If all of those are still there, sounds great! Who knows, we might get something cooler.

Hi TUNER1984,
I've enjoyed reading your post over the past couple of years.
It would be great to finally meet you and see your M3.
Sure hope you can make it and bring some of your local friends TOO!

The "A's" get my pick.
I would love to see the Aston Martin, and the Austin Healy.
My first cars were British Leyland's vehicles.
MG's, Austin Healey's, & Triumph's,
Looking forward to seeing them.
Dave

The flyer has been printed in 4 x 6 for the March 31 meet. A long-term flyer/web photo (without date) is the next step. The original can easily be modified but all new designs will be considered. Give it a go!

The Healey just missed my top 6 (top 8). The AM DBS is a natural. James Bond. Done.

Gather the forces. It would be optimal to have a full complement of BMWs.

Today's update from Facebook...

ITS OFFICIAL! Greenberg Gibbons Commercial (the HVTC management team) officially approved our event after a highly-productive meeting today. Excellent team. Hunt Valley Cars & Coffee guidelines will be shared here in the days leading up to the inaugural event.

Ritz Camera has printed more 4 x 6 windshield sliders as well as 8 x 12 matte flyers. Very slick. Initial contact has been made with Chik-fil-A. They're open at 6 a.m. on Saturdays. With their breakfast/coffee combo and great location, they're a natural fit. Panera also features early hours so they'll be contacted in the near future.

Build it and they will come. This is your meet. Spread the word!

Excellent! Great momentum is a key to sustained interest. If you are on Facebook, register your intentions on the Public Event Page. Search for "Hunt Valley Cars and Coffee" or click on the link in my signature.

See you, the wifey, a few of your buds and all of the cars on March 31! Keep spreading the word!

You could also try teamspeed.com. That is another high end forum.
