Same here. I was looking to either make one myself out of ABS or just give in and have LTMW make one for me. My timeline was in the next 2 weeks or so when I go to pick up my Quaife LSD.

They also installed the RacePak dash, and connected the S54 headers to the custom Magnaflow exhaust system. We are keeping the cats for now. The series is a HP/weight ratio, so we don't want to put out too much power.

Brad is the owner/President of BTM Motorwerks and is the back to back NASA E30 Nor Cal champion. He is going through the whole car to make sure everything is set up right. He also completely changed all the bushing in the suspension and rear subframe/diff to alum/heim joints. We will be co-drivers this year. I am excited.

I love following this thread. I can imagine this combo running around the BMW testing grounds back when they were testing out the eventual e90 m3, and from what I read the very early 1M test cars had the S54.

Can't wait for videos.

Would be awesome with a CSL intake and a vanos elimination kit... mmm loud lopey solid lifter cam idle.......

The car got to Thunder Hill and we got a chance to test. Car was really good right off the trailer. A few tweaks of extra chamber, etc. and she was really planted. We are doing 2 min flat at T-Hill.

The car has amazing handling. I am very impressed by the ARP splitter/wing combo. These boys hit a home run with this combo. I have never driven a car with this good of a handling on the track. The series runs on Nitto NT01 as a spec tire and we have Moton 3 way adjustable shocks in it as well. I think we can improve on the handling with better sway bars (with more adjustments).

Brad won the race, I came in fourth in the old E36 and we won the "Cobra team" award for the weekend. Great start for this car.

Last photo curtsey of Head on Photo. I wanted to buy the CD for the weekend, but they had packed up and left by the time the podium celebrations were over.

That's such an awesome build, just read all four pages and I'm loving it! Out of curiosity, why the e90 vs the e92?

Just what was available for sale at the time...

The car will be at Marina, CA this Saturday for a BMW CCA autocross if you want to see it live.

Damn it, I want to see the front splitter so I can trace it for Tony. I'm glad you like the combo, it is probably my favorite mod on my car!

Think you will be in Socal at any point in the next couple of weeks? I'll drive out to you to make a trace, ha.
