Annual Spring Cruise Collaboration with Canada 3/31

bimmette and I host a cruise every year with some awesome driving roads up north. We meet with the Canadians halfway way at the Skagit Resort Casino. All BMWs are welcome. We usually have around 8-12 total.

We will meet the Canadians at 11 AM at Skagit Resort Casino and cruise west to the islands/shore and/or chuckanut drive and have lunch and cruise probably southward a bit. We're usually a mature crowd, so please don't do anything dumb.

At 9:30 AM The Washington crew will meet at the:
Lynnwood Ash Way Park and Ride
16327 Ash Way, Lynnwood, WA 98087

We will depart by 10 AM.

Bring a coat! The shorelines get real chilly. Feel free to PM me with questions.

Here are some photos from the past few years:

We are not crossing the boarder at this cruise. We will remain south from our meet up location.

Thanks to mashimarho and bimmette for organizing the event.

My count had 18 cars and several more people participating, arriving from both sides of the border. The Wx cooperated with sunshine, exhausts burbled and crackled, and we didn't starve at lunch in the private banquet room (nice upgrade!). No tickets to my knowledge, in spite of Bay View's finest joining the BMWs snaking through his tiny, scenic town.

The highlight for me was meeting some of the people from the forums. Route 16 saved my bacon at the beginning of the ride when he lent me tools to remove a belly panel that snagged and tore. Thanks, Jason! And the rest of the group, many in M-cars, made me and my wife feel at home in our quiet touring.

Strong work!
