New Battery Coding Question

Hi,

I have recently got a new battery (Bosch S5 75Ah) for my 2007 e92 330i

My old battery was 70Ah.

Do I need to program it? Or will just a registration be enough?

Is 75Ah even a programmable option? I thought it went straight from 70Ah to 80Ah..

Thanks for any advice.

Yes, you should register this anyway. Is this AGM or standard?

I have now registered it as a new battery but not done any coding to change the Ah rating.

Its a standard battery replacing a standard non agm battery.

So you are fine, no needs to do any coding.

Thanks , do you think there would be any problems as its currently set to 70Ah but the battery is 75Ah?

Also (sorry if this is a stupid question) but does the the CCA rating matter. It was 570cca before and the new one is 680

It'll be fine. A difference like your new battery compared to old is negligible.

In fact I don't think BMW fit 70a any more.
