I recently installed front and rear M3 control arm kit (11pc FCP kit) and all new Bilstein B4 struts, shocks, and mounts. Got an alignment done, but the steering wheel feels not as tight as before. The car is E93 with active steering. Picture is what the alignment looks like now.
Any ideas why the steering with upgraded components feels worse than before?

I'm having a similar issue after installing coilovers, M3 Front Control arms and tension struts and sway bar bushings. Did you ever figure it out? Steering feels loose on turns. Like the car doesn't wanna stick to the road. New tires as well

Could be time for new tie rods? The stiffer bushings in the M3 arms might be accentuating the wear symptoms of your current rods.

If you're on run flat garbage that's a problem. Installation error could also be an issue. I installed M3 arms, tie rods, and new summer tires last year and experienced nothing like you described. What tires are you running? A lot people get caught up on alignments and s**t but that's rarely the issue. I completed a standard alignment at a local tire shop and it's been fine. Everything within BMW specs. No weird tire wear.
Maybe the active steering needs recalibrated?

Good question on the tires. I ditched my runflats for more ride comfort on bad roads. Michelin Pilot Sport 4AS. Ride is great and no longer feel worried I'll crack/bend a rim on a large bump on the highway, but turning doesn't feel as sharp anymore. Also my old run flats were worn down to the tabs and noisy.

Didn’t really resolve it, but it did improve, or maybe I just got used to it.
I did get new tie rods and new 18” wheels and tires (Michelin AS4).

too much toe, using fractional setting is less precise and not german way. you can see in the pic all the toe is the same but the arrows are not centered.
