BMW License Plate?
New here. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum for this question. I just bought my wife a new 325i for Christmas. When it was delivered, it already had the front license plate holder (black plastic) attached. I figured "no problem, I'll just remove it." It came off easy enough but left 2 ugly and very noticeable black holes in the bumper (the car is white).
Anybody know where I can find a white license plate with just the "BMW" letters on it? It seems like I've seen them around but I haven't been able to locate one. I thought about getting a plate with the roundel on it but thought it might look stupid since the hood roundel would be just a few inches above it. Alternatively, I suppose I could put some screws in the holes and put painted screw covers on them. Suggestions? Thanks, Steve Last edited by DeSotoSteve; 12-22-2005 at 11:15 AM.. |

Welcome to the forum! Your wife must be very happy with her gift this year! Dare I say better than jewelry? Nice color choice too. There have been a few threads here about the bumper plugs - but the popular choice seems to be: www.bumperplugs.com
I'm lucky and don't have holes in either car!

Glad I live in PA where they don't require front plates. They didn't drill the holes
