That thing's resale value has gone up because it would be very hard for someone to take a stock 135 and mod it into a 1M type car. By comparison, the a tuner or proficient DIY modder can take a stock 335 and easily mod it into something that rivals or outperforms the 335is.

Don't get me wrong, I love the 335is and the tuned engine, that's why I bought it. I just wonder if it will hold value and stay exclusive the same way the 1M does? So far it hasn't, but once enough N55 engine cars hit the streets, maybe?
It won't be a car that appreciates, thats for sure. You can't compare the car to the 1M, totally different animal with its only recent comparison would be the M coupe. The 335is will always stay slightly higher then then 335's and as the new models continue to come out, its rarity will push it closer to the M3 in resale value.

Wow! Fantastic data tables, thank you so much. Interesting to see how rare our cars are, only 63 of mine in existence! Interesting to see MT yield on e93 was only around 10%. Who else here wants to see that 1/1 e93 Sparkling Graphite on coral red?!

E92

2011 - 1982
2012 - 870
2013 - 744

E93

2011 - 1857

Keep in mind model year does not always mean 12 months of production. 2011 model year for the E92/E93 was 18 month long while 2012 was 12 month long.

Here is what I came up with

A lot of work! Beautiful! Thanks for this!

That explains it...I have a MY2011 with a build date of like July 18th 2011. Anyone know when the 18 mo. production ended or have a later built example?

Yup! Gotta love the N54B30T0, Joe Wierda for bringing the car to the US market, and Greg Emmerson for the write-up!

Nothing like buying one, driving 6 hours and seeing a white one pass you. Ran some hot miles in heavy traffic. It is just one sweet car. I did not think anything would top my roady, but this car does the trick.

Here in Saint Pete/Tampa I see them all the time. It's funny because I'm from Chicago and I've seen maybe 2.. Ever. But here they're a dime a dozen!

So, this means I have one of the 19. I'm in Canada, has DCT and is Space Gray Coupe with Black Dakota Leather.

Damnn! Talk about a rare color, 1 of 1. It looks good, suits the car, but looks even better because its the only one of its kind.

Just wanted to amplify the thanks being given, Mr. Finga! The two graphics have made the rounds, and I thought I'd come back to the source.

I was just discussing the rarity factor, and even though I'd looked over most of the figures here, one stood out -- only 313 verts with the 6MT were made. Holy moly . . . .
