Witnessed a small accident - got me worried

It doesn't just video what happens in the case of an accident it videos everything. If you aer hooning it around and don't have time to edit the footage before the insurance/police get hold of it then it might go against you.

True but if your careful with what you show + things like the Rawdhawk will create separate files when it detects an incident (something like 10 seconds before and 20 seconds after) so wont have the rest of the driving on them just the 30 seconds around the actual accident

But if it goes to court the defence will want full disclosure - including before and after so they can question you on your driving habits etc and generally cast any doubt they can. Your manner of driving before the accident is most certainly relevant.

If you have 'edited' it - they will infer there is something you are hiding. And of course when this record is being viewed by Police in collecting evidence - it logs all your speeds against GPS location -could be a bit of a bummer.
