Got to get the collectors welded onto the slip on flanges so they can bolt up. I wanted to get them on the car before I tried to guess at fitment.

Hey. I can't pm you. There is only one set but send me an email and I can refer you to the shop that did them.

Also. I dyno'd these puppies yesterday. There are gains all across the curve. Best run for HP had 12whp gain and max torque was around 20 lbs. Average gain through the band was 14lbs. I have to get the sheets properly scanned. I will provide a full breakdown.

You should see if the shop wants to make these and sell for a lot less than the mmw ones. Sure they would sell. I think they appear to have better flow than those as well.

It dropped all the way down to 7.9l /100km at one point. .25% increase in fuel economy. Anyways, I ran a baseline dyno before I put them on last night with my stock exhaust system. Only addition is a euro air box. I am going to go back and dyno in a week or so.

Only problem, is I got a CEL today. I put the DP fix setting on 5. Not sure how I need to adjust it and what it will take to clear it but I don't know which exact code it is. Anyways. Here are the pipes I installed.

I'll keep everyone updated on the dyno plus which setting clears my CEL. if anyone has any suggestions let me know.
hahaha i did this too!!!!!!last night actually and yes there is a crazy difference in mpg way better on the highway i was getting 35 on the highway and its all mtns here in pa

How did you come to this conclusion?

Merely comparing the diameter of the piping and the curved bends with no harsh angles. Could be wrong they just appear smoother and wider. Plus they are sort of crude looking so i assume theyd be cheaper. Which doesn't matter to me since you cant see them anyway.

yeah. It is great. Did you cut out cats? Mine is a brand new piece that was custom cast and then fabricated. Nonetheless, pretty much a no brainer with our cars. It should be the first mod anyone does. Think about it. BMW Performance Intake is like $750 and barely noticeable in terms of results.

The bends are actually vibrant and the manifold is stainless. The MIG weld on the collector makes it look a little crude but theoretically, it could all be tig welded in the collector, the piping could be mandrel bent and the final product could be polished. It would doll it up.

In the end, it makes power and tq. Thats all I care about.

congrats on your mod working out.

I'd like to know more if this can be manufactured for a few of us on the forums.

For scanner, visit a staples and bring anything else you need bound or printed on high quality or thick stationary paper. I used them in the past, pretty decent prices

you have a 1 series. Would it fit your car? I've seen pics and they look the same minus the sound deadening piece but I don't know anyone who has confirmed it.

Ok. So I figured I would just post the crappy cell phone pic of the dyno results and a short video. Specs were as such:
  • Dynocom - bolted into wheel hubs
  • Stock Run on Chevron 94 - No ethanol
  • Header run - 92 grade containing ethanol from no name gas station
  • There was a ping in the run that didn't affect HP but threw max tq off
  • Despite the ping max tq was around 174 ft lbs. So around 20lbs gain
  • One of the runs showed 12 whp max gain - not super important because its the delta that matters
  • Greatest TQ gains are in the 2.5 to 3.5 rpm range
  • Video briefly shows flatter curves without ping
  • Best pulls were 5th and 4th base and headers respectively
  • Avg tq gains throughout the band were 14lbs
  • Avg hp gains were about 9.X
  • I highlighted the graph in pen because lines were faint
  • 6 pulls each time - best runs were taken, although the pull before the one on the graph had higher MAX HP and no ping if I remember correctly. I should of had him put that one on. I was in a daze when this went down because we had a baby the night before and I barely had any sleep. Yes. I dyno'd the day after having a child. Don't judge me.

Kickass gains. Would you mind sharing the total cost if you haven't already?

I haven't tallied the whole thing up yet but to be honest, it has been very costly.

I bought OEM manifolds, had jigs built, had custom casting done, then fabrication of custom built units plus dyno sessions. I can have these reproduced now but I just wanted to be sure they yielded results.

Yes, it should fit because SuperSprint headers are the same part as e90 version
its the z4 that isn't confirmed.

A dyno with gains & a child. You must be in some king of emotional high. Congrats!

That's great news. Makes me want to have more of them made up.
