Yea. I loved Space Grey when I saw it in the press release photos above. But when I saw it in person, it didn't have that depth to the color that it showed in the pics. That's why I was wondering if Montego is like that, good in pics, but not as cool in real life.

This is my Montego Blue 335D Coupe parked next to our electric blue MCS...light was about 45 mins before dusk on a cloudy day so both cars colours look more saturated than in clear bright light.

Golden rule is for photographing cars is in the first & last hour of daylight.

Top pix is a bit noisy in the blue channel as it was taken a ISO 1600

I placed my order for the new '07 335i coupe a few weeks ago. I ordered the Black Sapphire Metallic with the Coral Red interior and the Brushed Aluminum trim, 6-speed manual with Cold Weather/Premium/Sport Packages. Fully loaded minus the iDrive/Navagation system. I would have ordered the nav if you can get it without the iDrive. I am hoping to get the Style 220 wheel (I think that is right) instead of the ones that currently come with it. If not, then no big deal, I do like the standard wheel. I am pretty excited for it. This is my first brand new car. I was told that I should have it some time early to mid February. As soon as I pick it up, it is going to the tint shop.

I will post pics as soon as I get it.

First time poster.

My order was placed 2/22, April delivery, for an E92 328i. Premium package, heated seats, rear window shade. As a young man I lusted after a Jaguar E-type (showing my age) and THE color combination for British sports cars back in the day was British Racing Green and brown leather. So on the Bimmer I went with the Dark Green Metallic with brown leather. It would appear from this list and from what I see on the street that this is not a common color choice but I believe it is going to look classy.

This will be my second BMW automobile. My first was a 1600 Coupe (anybody remember those?). VW type heating (no fan), 6 volt electrics, but IIRC 92 hp out of that little 1600. A great little car. I am really looking forward to this one.

This unit is going to look good sharing the garage with my other BMW unit, my R1150GSP motorcycle. I can't wait to try the car out on some of my favorite bike roads.

I have been enjoying reading the list. Thanks for reading.

I just bought a 328i and they tell me the standard wheel on it is a 16x7 not
a 17 inch as stted above. Is there a different standard in different countries??

I also ask that anyone who knows where to find the offset for the 16x7 wheel, please post the URL or the actual number
