New 335d member introduction

Just wanted to say hey since I've been lurking for a couple months.

I purchased a 2011 335D in May with 92,xxx miles that came with the sport package, space grey exterior with oyster interior and all the bells and whistles you can get besides the m-sport stuff(really wanted one but couldn't find one). The car came with a lifetime engine/trans/driveline warranty, I took it up a notch and got a lifetime "wrap" coverage for a good deal.

I love that I get both performance and fuel economy out of this car. So far the car has 106,xxx miles, I'm averaging 33-35mpg. I've done one oil/air/cabin filter change and DEF fill. I haven't done the fuel filter yet since I don't have the proper tools to prime the hpfp. This is my first BMW so I'm still learning about all the unique devices you use to work on the car. The dealership replaced the MAF and rear power sunshade under warranty other than that no real issues. Anyways looking forward to reading about all the stuff you guys/girls are doing to your "D's".

Welcome to this awesome forum and car.
Good to see you're doing all the important stuff. Also, do think about an oil change for the tranny.

Welcome. I myself just purchased a 2011 335d with sport, premium and nav. Dakota beige leather with jet black exterior. Just took it from Cincy to Cleveland and back on one tank. over 570 miles. That was doing about 90 pretty much the whole way, too. Which seemed just effortless at like barely 2,000 RPMs. This car is such a monster.
