Stud conversion

Hello everyone,

I will be receiving my new custom wheel soon and I've been wanting to covert to studs and lugnuts. I did a lot of searching and I found only 3 companies that make stud conversion kits: Macht Schnell, Turner motorsports and VAC.

Unfortunately, all 3 options above offer black studs and black lug nuts. I know this is purely cosmetic, but I wonder if anyone offers lug nuts and studs in different colors. I am looking for silver or polished steel

Stick with a quality steel stud which can only be found in silver or a black finish, then top that off with a quality colored anodized aluminum or titanium lug nut for a splash of color.

Vorshlag, Bimmerworld, and ECS (H&R) all sell the studs too.

You can get any lug nut u want, just make sure you opt for the ones with a 12x1.5 thread pitch.

If 12x1.5 is available u will be able to select it.

We also offer the Macht Schell stud conversion kit without the lugs. Made of high quality steel these come in a black finish.

To top it off we also offer various color options in lug nuts!!

More colors also available!!

75mm will be fine. 90mm will be sticking out looking like a car from Mad Max!

The 75mm works great on stock car and can take up to a 12mm spacer. The 90mm requires a 5mm spacer minimum and can take a 20mm spacer. If you have any questions I'd be glad to help you out!

I got my studs from Tuner motorsport, and they are good quality.

Tip; Dont buy cheap studs or wheel nuts you will pay dearly for this later down the track!

I thought that the bolts were stronger than the lug nuts with studs, am I wrong, or does it not matter?

Would 75 mm studs be okay if you're using a 5mm spacer?
