I tend to get attached to all of my cars. I wish I had kept the first BMW I ever bought, but I did keep the first new E46 I ever bought, I love the lines of that car. Its a 2001 , right before they changed the signal lights a little. To me that car is classic. I just finished pouring the floor in a new 40' X60' garage. I always have it sitting next to our 69 Camaro. IDK why those 2 cars remind me of each other. Timeless.
I'm on the hunt now for a clean E30 to start restoring.

I am definitely attached to my car. Maybe too attached

I don't tend to form attachments to cars but for some reason this one is different. All of my previous cars (even my previous BMW) I had no problem letting go when the time came, but with this car I was "attached" from day 1.

At this point I couldn't imagine driving a non BMW for the foreseeable future, with the exception of a Maserati or maybe a GT-R. Even then I would probably still keep a BMW in the garage.

Love my 335i. Plan on keeping it as my DD as long as it lasts and hopefully adding the newly reported I6 Twin Turbo M3 eventually.

This is my plan as well. When i get the $, get the new M3, and then single-turbo the 335i to tear up the weekends

No specific attachment to this car (335i), but I did install GIAC stage II so I like it a bit more. This is my 4th BMW:

2002 325 coupe - got me started loving BMWs
2007 328 xi sedan - continued my affection for BMWs
2008 135i - my favorite BMW, Cobb Stage II FBO, still miss It!
2009 335i sedan - ok for now.

Looking forward to my next BMW

Love my 335xi. Even on the worst day, when I get in, dip the clutch and put it first, it just feels good

Was attached to it for about 6 weeks, but after the accident, I am really impartial. Probably trade it in when spring arrives.

Without question I am attached to my 335xi. Getting in my car and going on a spirited run makes a bad day better.

I'm attached to my car..but she doesn't complain.

For real though, I really do love my car. When you're having a bad day, just hop in, turn on BPM, throw it in first, and vroooooom away

My car is causing problems in my marriage. I park far away in lots and won't use for certain things,I need another vehicle as a beater and winter car. The car has a big personality

lol I foresee this happening to me.

Me saying "lets take your car!" to the wife on all errand runs etc.

I used to hate BMWs because they were ubiquitous. I thought the older generation bimmers were hideous, and I hated how all the other models looked the same. I told myself the only time I will drive a bimmer or a benz was when I had either an M or an AMG variant.

Then I got the 335i and everything changed. My first car was a 350z, and to this day I still miss driving her, but I have to admit that the 335i is one hell of a car. It's so forgiving on turns and twists, and the speed and handling is addictive.

I now have something my friend dubbed "bimmer syndrome." (sorry if that term has been used elsewhere, proper credits go to whoever coined it.) It doesnt matter what car I get to now: I instinctively jam my key fob into the dash, have trouble readjusting to non-bmw turn signals, and I pull my door levers twice.

And I aint ashamed of that at all!
