2005 320d - Worth it? *including pics*
Hi guys
A few days ago I stumbled upon a nice looking 320d on the secondhand site of a Ford dealer; here are the specs: - 163BHP (6-speed manual) - leather interior - iDrive professional - parkingsensors - & ofcourse the basics The dealership is currently selling this car with around 200.000km (about 125.000 miles) for €8.899 (around $11.600). My question is: is the car worth it? (considering known issues with that model, miles, age, price, ...) Thanks in advance! Last edited by TheMrBlue; 07-01-2013 at 06:09 AM.. |

That is a popular engine in Belgium and 200,000 km is OK as long as it has a full service history. Can you take it to BMW and have them look at it in order to see if there are issues?

Thanks! I'm currently doing my exams so I haven't had the chance to contact them yet (unfortunately); however the car is being sold by a big Ford dealership (including warranty, apparently), so I'm pretty sure they did a thorough check on the car; unless there are some things that really should be checked by a BMW dealer?

Personally, I wouldn't touch a car with high kms like that as you do not know its history... It may seem like a bargain... but I would be very careful and be sure to take it to an indy to have it checked over from top to bottom before committing.
