Brand Loyalty

Lots of people on here are loyal to BMW and I was wondering what other big ticket items people have loyalty towards?

I enjoy researching the the market and reading magazine/web reviews when buying new things. The reality is deep down I have an bias to some brands that even before purchase I know I will probably end up buying their stuff.

Examples of my choices are Dell for computers, Mizuno for Golf clubs, Panasonic for TV/Video's, Canon for cameras. I guess there is a reasurance knowing the quality of the product or comfort that the controls will be similar to last one you owned. For example Dell you can only buy on the web/mail order and you have a feel for what the product will be like before it arrives. I also like to think as a loyal customer you may get fair customer service if it's ever required.

What other makes products do you always go for and why?

Havana Club, Grey Goose, Glenmorangie, Meguiars. Not much else really!

Generally buy big ticket items on features vs price - do quite a lot of research and don't usually stick to any one name.

I'd have to say Tag Heuer Watches--they are just great watches and last a long time which makes them well worth the sticker price

Loyal to nothing I don't think like trying new things far too much!

For Paul the American - watches?? One should last a lifetime, if it's a good one.
