my babies, first and second
I just couldn't bring myself to sell the first one when I got the second so I'm keeping her to autocross in. now I've just got to get her set up to do said autocross.

thanks, me too. there are several things I like about the e36 more than the e90. everytime I get in the e36 I remember how much I love the window switches around the shifter. I wish someone would come up with a mod for that on the e90.

Very nice cars! Setting up the e36 shouldn't be too hard, new tires, wheels, suspension and maybe some performance bits should do the trick!

yeah, I believe I'm going to get some of the Turner heavy rubber control arm bushings, and their limiter setup on the RTABs . I do need new tires and trying to decide between the Pilot Sport A/S Plus (have the regular Sport A/S now) or save some money and get the Bridgestone RE970's (I think they're called).

E36's are my favorite cars of all time. I bought my e36 M3 for 5200 and $9,000 later i m still dumping money into it. Financially dumb ? Yes, but the happiness that car brings me is unmatched for compared to any other car i've driven. Its almost like it has a soul. I love it every time that i take it on a canyon, handles as if it were on rails. Even a fully bolt on 400whp 335wasn't as fun to drive as my e36. Keep it forever.

yes, for autocross and street use. I do plan on getting some race tires eventually just for events, but want to stay in a stock class. in Alabama I don't worry about snow, but do want good rain performance. I've been happy with the sport A/S, they are just expensive. looking at TireRack, the options are very limited on a good tire, I wish they still had the P Zero Nero m/s for $99 like they used to. when I do drive it on the street I still want good performance. I'm about to have to do some major overhauling on this thing to get it ready. I know I'm going to get eatin' alive by the miatas and wrx's.
