Stranded part 2

Was about to leave for the shops when I realised a dust cap was loose on one wheel.

Managed to sort it but it had my heart pounding for a minute or two.

Be careful of the contents of your glovebox mate.

If you drive the car very hard then loose items in the car can end up in slightly different positions.

I'm not sure HOW you'd be able to drive the car if those travel sweets moved from the middle of the glovebox to slightly to the left of the middle of the glovebox.

Actually, that raises a further point. You *DO* have travel sweets don't you? BMW will void your warranty if they aren't in there you know!

What brand of travel sweets do BMW recommend? And does it void your warranty if you use an alternative brand? Is there any way that they can find out?

No chance..I'm guessing they'd be pipe smoking, slipper wearing oldies driving 318d se tourings that go for the Wurthers

Big boys..opt for the harder stuff. Haribos

If there was a parcel shelf, that very blanket would be upon it.

Sadly the lack of one means I have to resort to adorning the car with National Trust and Saga stickers.

It must be a bummer not having anywhere to put the nodding dog

Surely the tourer is the ideal car for dogging out of the E9x variants?

I got struck down by the Norovirus at a work meeting on Tuesday. Very unpleasant. If only I had had a tin of these my 100 mile drive home would have been a breeze. Rather than air conditioning on at full blast and shirt unbuttoned to the navel. (Not a good look) Fortunately I managed to keep the contents of stomach in situ until I got home or the car would have been a write off.

Now that is drama!

I had that years ago, horrible experience. I wish it was just the contents of my stomach but my arse was going too and unfortunately at the same time. Fortunately there was no one behind me and i was at home

Yep that's exactly how it was for me.

I've never had anything like it and I still don't know how I managed to hold it in all day.
