Transmission mount - when should it be replaced?

Hi guys,

Been trying to find out some info on when it's recommended to replace the transmission mount on a 335xi (automatic trans). But I've really just come up short. Is there a recommended mileage where it should be replaced? Or do you not ever really have to? I'm approaching 100k on my car, and I'm replacing the motor mounts this Friday so I was wondering if I should do the trans while I'm at it.

Cheers

Not really an answer to your question, but I have 133k miles on my 08 e90 335xi, original motor mounts and trans mount no issues at all.

I'd be surprised if your mounts are worn! I wouldn't think this is an item changed at a specific mileage interval. Maybe a good idea to rule out any other causes?

You don't really need to replace the mount unless you notice some sort of banging. Is there any ? Press on the brake and tap the gas a bit and see if there is any sort of movement from the mount.

Did you ever replace your motor/transmission mounts? Just curious how you go to the driver's side motor mount as it seems to be quite a pain to get to. Passenger was too easy.
