BBK on 162 in winter, spacer?
Hey guys.
I know there are tons of this kind of thread. But, I'm not just simply ask fit or not fit. As title said, I want run a rotora big brake kit in winter with my stock 162 wheels. The sales person told me I need extra 2mm clearance between stock wheel and stock caliper. It seems have 1mm space. So I'm thinking can a 5mm spacer do the trick? I will run M6 replica wheels in summer, it should have not problem. But on winter... I really don't want spend another $600 for a set of winter wheels. Thanks. |

well if you only need 2mm, then by simple math, yes. 5mm will work.

ROTORA RECOMMENDS A MINIMUM OF 2MM OF ADDITIONAL CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE OUTER FACE OF THE CALIPER TO THE INNER SPOKE OF THE WHEEL.
Thats what they said on their clearance chart. I think this may not just simple math. Acoording to the wheel style, I'm afraid it may not clear in disc side. Thanks for help. |
