2013 Southern York Region Regular Meets

Guessing there should be a meet on tonight (Friday)? Is it on? Trying to fit the meet into my schedule. Too much crap to do this weekend.

tonight's yorkregion bi-weekly meet is still up as long as it's not raining, hope to see you all tonight as it might be one of the last meet that we will have for this season! see u all at 9:30 at woodbine and 16th!

I'm relatively new to this forum.
Is this bi-weekly meet always by Woodbine and 16th? Or does the location change from time to time?
I ask as I'm in Mississauga, but wouldn't mind coming out to meet with other car enthusiasts.

Always at the same location, but occurs every other week.

Hi and welcome. As Ali-323i mentioned, the location doesn't change. The first post is always updated with the latest meet information so I recommend people always check it first before heading out to the meet. Since you're out in Sauga, you might be more interested in the weekly (mostly) meets that happen out at Heartland. For information about those meets I would join the BMWTrueNorth FB group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/bmwtruenorth/) as most of the members that go to that organize themselves there instead.

*General Note* - Tonight's meeting has been cancelled due to forecast of low temps. At this point we might be done for the year. I will update the first post once a decision has been made.

Sorry for the late update but we decided to end these meets for the year so there will NOT be anything tonight or rest of the year. Thanks to everyone who came out this year and hopefully you guys will be attending the closer meet this Sunday.

Hey all, what are the plans for reviving this in 2014?

I'm in the process of figuring out what would work best for our downtown faction as well. (You may recall we started cruising to your meet after leaving the downtown meeting spot).

Any interest in combining the two together, at a more central location (fairview ish?)?

Unfortunately I won't have time this year to organize these meets so Sydande has volunteered to do it. He's started a new thread for it here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=984588. Also, based on discussions in the BMWTrueNorth FB group there will be alternating downtown / Markham meets with the downtown one starting this Friday.

Minor correction, downtown meet is every Friday, but we'll cruise to Markham meet on alternating Fridays when Markham meet is on.
