Cool 295/30/19 Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta - ordered!

Just put an order through for a new set of rears for the street. I've been very very VERY pleased with the Vredestein 275/30/19 I used to run on my 19x10 VMR VB3 wheels. They're super quiet, have great wear characteristics and for a daily driver like my car these tires just rock overall in wet/dry and price, so much so in fact, that I decided not to change the brand but to just go wider.

Ordered from performanceplustire.com (US) where I got the original tires from. Let you guys know how it turns out once I tuck them under there hopefully no rubbing

Just need that traction BAD!

Nice choice! I hear these tires rival the PS2's as far as traction is concerned. Would you mind PM'ing me the price. I'm shopping for a set myself.

Well I've had these on the car for the last two seasons and the fronts haven't even been used much and I daily drive the car...the rear that was 275/30/19 is completely used up from ripping it up on the RB turbos past 6 months 275s can't hold it traction on high boost...with 295s I'm hoping they'll do a bit better on the street...for track days I have a dedicated Kosei 17" MickeyThompson 275/40/17 setup for the rear but that can't be street driven when rain surprises you, pretty scary when its wet actually and you don't even have to be going to fast or cornering

Vredesteins have been MUCH better on my car than even the Goodyear Eagle F1 DS that I had, I won't even mention the General Exclaims lol

I have the Goodyear Eagle F1's right now and they seem to hold reasonably well. Now with the DCI and the meth setup they break loose even in third gear! And depending how fast you're going it can be scary. I'd love to try out the Vredestein's even if they are bald. Let me know how the new ones fit under your car.

How do these compare to other popular options as the Hankook V12s or Conti DWs?

Now add RBs on that and another 150whp up top..when it brakes loose at 1-110km/hr in 3rd gear scary doesn't cut it!

Great tires, used to run them on my old ride! Get a ton of rain here in the GVA and as you know they have excellent traction in the wet as well. I also love the tread pattern.. ppl always wanted to take a closer look because it's so different.
