Who uses the sport seat extensions?
I think most people have the sport seats in their bmw's where you can extend the seat out to me I think it's a worthless feature I am a shorter person and It does not do any justice for me curious if anyone else actually extends the seat out? Why would BMW make the seat extend like that in the first place? Thanks

I have long legs. The thigh support rocks.
That being said, my current car does not have sport seats, and I wish it did.

I'm not that tall my self and I use it sometimes. Pretty comforting. I had the same thing in my G37S, and I used it more in that car... I guess the seats were smaller.

I never used it and hardly use it besides this one time during a long trip, it was comfy then for that situation.

I leave mine out all the way. After i get the car back from detail and go for a drive I can always tell is not out and pull it back to its correct setting. I think it really helps when you have long legs with the 6MT. I miss the ones on my old 545 they were power...

One of the cool points of the sport seats.
I run mine all the way out . I am 6 ft tall and they give a very nice
space ship like seat position. |

I find it useless until I have something like a can or other "roll prone" object in the passenger seat, during which time that little rift serves as an excellent retaining wall from said object sliding / rolling forward and onto the floor.

I used both sides... the passenger side fits my wallet very nicely.

If it's not fully extended, the seat stops way too short for me. I don't think I've ever folded it in since I've owned the car. The passenger can do what ever they want with theirs, but I always fold that one back in when nobody's sitting there.

Who uses the sport seat extensions?
I'm tall, but I don't generally use 'em because they look plasticy and I think they'd break without too much of an effort.
They're kind of a BMW tradition -- like nicking you for the floor mats. I'd still pay extra for the sport seats if they didn't have the extensions.
