h&r sport or race?

Which spring would look/be best with my wheel setup?

front wheel size: 19x9 ET35
rear wheel size: 19x10 ET 38

with 235 front and 265 rear.

I want it to look low but not sure if the race springs would make it rub.

I have a 2008 328i (e90)

Thanks

Race is aggressive - sits very low. I have H&R sport on my xi with 19 inch wheels and the drop is pretty good (still rake of course) but the drop would look much better on your i. I would imagne rubbing on a H&R Race setup -- but I could be wrong!

B/c of wheel and tire sizes you are not going to rub with either set up. I like lower so I would say race. I have B&G springs and mine are actually right in between the H&R Sport and Race springs.

Hmm, good to know I won't rub with setup. Would anyone happen to have a picture of a sport spring and thn a car with race springs? Just wanting to see the difference..

I'll look up those b&g springs!

Those pics ate sweet yeah I'm looking at wheel gap. I pmd a vendor about them and he said the race can cause damage to shocks because they aren't meant to be pushed down so far. Do you have different shocks?

i had the same dilemma with my 06 325, i wanted something in between h&r sport and race. so i got eibach sportlines, after they were installed i was disappointed that i spent money and got a one inch drop. not really noticeable to the general public, if you want a drop worth spending money on get h&r race. personally if i were to do it over i would keep stock sport springs with koni yellows eibach sways and m subframe and tension strut bushings.

See, i want race but i was told i'll have to change out my shocks too because its too much of a drop... That's costly

assuming you've got a non-sport e90 like me, you're going to have to change the shocks regardless of the springs you choose. All of the aftermarket springs and even OEM ZSP springs have higher compression than our "floaty" springs. The need for replacement shocks are to compensate for the spring compression as well as the handling benefits.

your going to need replacement shocks regardless of what drop you do.. you can save on install cost by doing shocks and springs at the same time. however if your like me and not driving your car in the winter then just throw on the race because the stocks shocks will die in a few months anyway and then just do the shocks over the winter when your not driving the e90.
