Winter runflats
My granddaughter has just bought an 11 reg 5door 1 series and I would like to treat her to a set of used wheels complete with runflat winter tyres. Would 3 series wheels fit the 1 series, if they do then I could cast a wider net. Thanks for your help.

Winter runflats are pretty damn expensive. Are runflats a necessity?

It depends on what wheels your looking at, as some will fit the 1er - namely the 16’s. However, the E9x offset is generally too wide to fit the 1er.
And as for RF’s, I’d certainly be switching to normals - I can’t comment for winters but from my experience the non-RF’s (normal) provide far better levels of grip and comfort. |
