E93 335 - 18s or 19s

Open'er up to comments:

Should I go for 18 inch or 19 inch tires on this new cab?

What'll be the difference in ride, etc.

What about the 17s that come standard, too small?

IMO
17's way too small. 18's still a tad small. 19's perfect. 20's a little too big.

+1. 19's minus the RFT is relatively a smooth ride.

You HAVE to go 19"s...
on the E92's 18"s are just too small..
I've always said you have to get the biggest OEM wheels available on every BMW i've had and when my mates have got them. Never looked back.

The e93 has more compliant suspension than the e90/e92, so I can't see 19s being a problem comfort wise. I have 18s on my e90 with rock-hard RFT tyres, but the ride is surprisingly good.

I thought the suspension in the E93 with SP is identical to the E92 with SP.

here's what I see and can conclude from this post so far.

19s

18s are "okay"

no to 17s

alrighty then.

Looks like I'm going to change my car to the following:

E93 335
Monaco Blue
Saddle interior
Sports Package (19s)
comfort access
USB

Probably going to install the Garmin 670 with FM Transmitter for GPS and bluetooth phone.

No choice, gotta be 19s and the 230s look great!!
My E93 has the 230s and the Msport suspension, even with runflats the ride is fantastic, just learning to drive around any hole more than an inch deep cos you really feel them.
Small price to pay for the looks/grip/cornering ability so no regrets at all.

20" rims with the right tyre will just raise the bar slightly. As there will be a lot out there with 19" standard 5 spokes.
