Changing tire problems help needed?
I currently have M6 reps 19's with general exclaims. Now everytime I take my car in to a tire place or BMW to repair a tire from nails or whatever they all tell me "we can't get the tire off the wheel because the machines start to bend because of the thinness of the tires and the width of the rims and we don't want to damage them". Three places told me this even BMW dealer. I now want to get rid of my exclaims and buy some Goodyear Eagle F1's. Anybody with some knowledge regarding my situation will help me with my anxieties greatly. If I buy the Goodyears F1's do you think the side wall will be large enough to be able to be put on my M6's at the shop? Thanks for the help

first off how bout some deminsions, secondly i put 275 RF on the oem 8.5 width rim with no problems. of course it took a little more time since it was a bigger tire on a smaller rim and they were runflats but they gotem on. now i figure if they can put them on they can take them off. take them to a Indi shop. the BMW dealer said they couldnt get them on but they were being sallys about it.

It sounds like they rather not touch lower profile and wider tires period. So getting those Goodyears probably wouldn't matter to them. Do you happen to have custom wheel shops in your area?
I would suggest looking on tirerack.com for recommended wheel/tire shops in your area that would be able to do it. -Charles@VMRWheels

thanks for the advice. It sounds like that but they say their machines actually start bending. I dont know what Im going to do, my tires in the back are very worn. I would hate to have to go back to my boring 18's
