2009 LCI facelift E90 sedan - official press release + pics!

the new mirrors make it look like dumbo. that's a big plus on the 2006-08 e90 after the dull ones shared with the previous 5 series on my old e46 sedan (that never matched the sleeker e46 coupes). bet they don't use these new ones on the 2010 coupe.

apart from the shape of the rear tails, I really don't like any of it.

The look of the hood is growing on me. Originally, I thought that was the only drawback, but now I think the car looks better all around.

The hood will be just that much harder to polish now -- guys like me will tend to fling polish / dust around a bit near the raised edges.

I've come to really like the refreshed sedan. So much so, I canceled my e92 order for one.

And since you're waiting, there's only 2 more yrs from there to the 3 series complete remake in 2012!

Other factors in my life contributed to the change of heart as well. I'm expecting a baby in late October and I couldn't justify having an e92 and a Mini Cooper with the baby on the way. Before the 09 refresh, I hated the look of the e90, especially the rear lights. The refresh made it so that I didn't go buy an A4.
